Elizabeth Ann Hughes, 76, of White House, retired manager of the Hendersonville Utility District, passed away due to complications with COVID-19 after a month-long fight against the illness. A Nashville native, Ms. Hughes had been a resident of White House since 1995 when she joined her son in the raising of his children. A hard worker and industrious woman, it was not uncommon for her to have multiple jobs but carried music in her heart as a talented pianist and saxophone player.
She is preceded in death by son Norman Lester Hughes Jr.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Brianna Hughes, Gabriel Hughes, Hope Goings and Peyton Goings-Hughes, and one great grandson.
Services will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home in Hendersonville at 1 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Reverend Thomas Rawl a neighbor and friend of the family, will be officiating the service.
