Wilma Fisher

Mrs. Wilma Reed Fisher, formerly of Hendersonville, TN passed away peacefully at Hartsville Health & Rehab on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Mrs. Fisher is preceded in death by her parents Willie D. & Georgia Preston Reed, husband and lifelong companion, Joe Fisher who passed away on March 24, 1998. Siblings Nannie Ligon Reed, Willie Dee Wright and Betty Reed Gregory. She is survived by one sister, Wanda Reed Redding of Springfield, TN, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Mrs. Fisher was a nurse for many years beginning her career with Cox Family Practice in Gallatin, TN and ending with Sunbelt Home Health Systems of Middle Tennessee. She was a caregiver to a very special young man for many years, "Jordan."

Funeral service for Mrs. Fisher will be conducted by Brother Johnny Carver in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home and Memory Gardens on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm and service to follow at 2:00pm.

Mrs. Fisher's request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, Nashville, TN.
