William “Bill” Taylor Hall, age 85, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Jubilee Hills in Goodlettsville.
He was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 15, 1936.
William is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Mae Hall; father, Walter Franklin Hall and brother, Walter Hall.
He leaves behind his family, wife of 64 years, Norma Jean Hall; daughters, Debra Jean (Jim) Garrett and Joan Allen (Jimmy) Suddarth; son, William T. “Bill” (Gina) Hall; sister, Judith Marie (David) Cotham; and many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Bradley (Lindsey) Suddarth, Taylor (Gannon) Richesin, Kayla Hall, Niki Garrett, Kara Garret, Will (Haven) Hall, and Faith Hall; great-grandchildren, Tate Suddarth, Beau Suddarth, Ember Richesin and Greta Richesin.
William, known as Bill or Billy, was treasurer of John Bouchard & Sons in Nashville, Tennessee and retired in 2000.
He met and married Norma Jean Hall while they were both attending Bowling Green College of Commerce in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Bill was known for his great love for family and others. He taught a Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church for 25 years and all that knew him had loved him He had many friends over his lifespan. Family and friends will be missing his guidance, direction, and love.
Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 2 P.M. Visitation with friends and family will be from 12 P.M. until service time.
