Mr. William Morrison "Bill" Hurt age 72, of Leesburg, FL, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Mr. Hurt was born in Hendersonville, TN, on July 6, 1945, the son of the late William LeRoy Hurt and Willie Edna Morrison Hurt. He moved to Leesburg, FL in 2005. Mr. Hurt served in the United States Navy assigned to Silent Service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. He was a master craftsman, expert RC Airplane builder and was a Static Judge at the Annual Top Gun Competition in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Hurt loved restoring cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed boating, riding motorcycles, and was a walking history book of Hendersonville. He was a jack of all trades and master of many.

Survivors include his wife, Janelle W. Hurt; children, Chris (Jackie) Hurt of Hendersonville, TN, Kim (Darren) Dryer of Lebanon, TN, Cindy (Derek) Kimbro of Hendersonville, TN, David "Dude" (Fabiola) White, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Sarah White of Glendale, CA; his children's mother, Linda Tinsley; and eleven grandchildren, Casey, Justin, and Sydney Goins, Jacob and Caleb Stinson, Josh Barnes, Emily and Jack Hurt, Tyler and Kendal Kimbro, and Leo Rinella.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, July 6, 2018, at 7:00 P.M., Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
