William Butler

BUTLER, William "Bill"-age 85, went to be with the Lord on September 14, 2012. He was a devoted Christian at College Heights Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for 20 years. Bill retired from Dupont where he worked as a Millwright for over 20 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Oleta U. Butler; daughters, Rhonda Carlisle Joseph, Vickie Hackney Ronald, and Debbie Hawkins; step-daughter, Donna Traughber-Kiber Don; step-son, Ronald L. Traughber; granddaughter, Mindy Carlisle; grandson, Dalton Hawkins; 10 step-grandchildren and sister, Reba Harris. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 1p.m. at College Heights Baptist Church with Brother Larry Gilmore officiating. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of the church. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2p.m.-8p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
