Wilburn Jackson

Wilburn Earl Jackson age 86, of Gallatin, TN passed peacefully on July 25th 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Wilburn was born in Cottontown, TN and was the son of the late Caylor Benton Jackson and Rebecca Lamberth Jackson.  Wilburn was self-employed as an Electrician and Plumber for many years until retirement.  Prior to that he was the owner/operator of a dairy farm in Sumner County.  He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, and watching Westerns.

He was preceded in death by his brother Leland Jackson and infant sister.  He is survived by Holly, Anthony and Kristina Witt, Sherrie Durham, Charlie and Joann Jackson, Joel and Pete Jackson, David, Anthony, Tyler, and Jasmin Jackson, Angela Jackson Legate, Kathy Jackson Lackey, Debbie and Jim Parks; Edna Adamson Jackson, along with numerous extended family members.

A service to celebrate Wilburn’s life will be held at 2pm on the afternoon of Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Mark Grubb and George Austin will be officiating the service and family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 4pm-8pm on the afternoon of Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A second visitation will also be held two hours prior to the start of the funeral service.
