Wendy Frye

Wendy Frye, 41 of Hendersonville TN went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2024. 

She was born on June 6, 1983, in Madison, TN to Alicia Guess Frye and John Frye. 

Wendy was an avid soccer player in her younger years, playing on several select travel teams and attended Hendersonville High School. 

She was a pre-school teacher and adored her children, and all babies. 

She worked at The Family Center at Dollar General for 10 years, and prior to that at Cornerstone Day Care for many years. 

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Hilda (McCuiston) Guess; and grandfather, Henry (Hank) Guess. 

She is survived by her former husband, Brandon Clawson; sons, Brady Clawson (20), and Preston Clawson (20); daughter, Kinsley Clawson (15); brother, John (Jeffrey) Frye; parents Alicia (Guess) Frye, and John Frye; uncles, Richard Guess, Monte James, and Mike Frye; aunts, Julie James, Pam Guess, Lora Guess; along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces. 

Service will be Saturday, November 30th from 2-4 pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens (353 E. Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075). 

Wendy will always live in our hearts as her sweet soul touched and enriched our lives for all her years. Her generosity continued through her death as we carried out her wish to donate and save as many lives as she could. We are grateful to have been blessed with her presence in our lives. We know she is safe in the hands of our Lord.
