Walter Rein

Mr. Walter Harold Rein age 79, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

Mr. Rein was born in Chicago, IL on February 11, 1941, the son of the late Sidney Walter Rein and Helen Rozycki Rein. He proudly served in the United States Army. Mr. Rein retired from the United States Secret Service after twenty-six years of service. He was a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rein was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Gay Terry.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Gross Rein, to whom he was married on April 10, 1993; four children, Jennifer Hammond (Rick), Buddy Rein (Meribeth), Sydney Rein, and Mandy Kalb; five grandchildren, Cody, Megan, Kelly, Katrina, and Mia; and a brother, Robert Rein (Linda).

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
