Walter Lee Maddux- age 64 went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2016.

He was born to the late Thomas and Lorene Bauman Maddux in Decaturville, TN on May 1, 1951. He will forever be remembered as a very patriotic man that served his country proudly as a career soldier in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his siblings, Charles Allen Maddux and Mildred Marynell Murphy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Brenda (Clay) Maddux; children, Nathan, Samuel and Amanda; grandchildren, Jayden, Jodi and Brendon; brother, Robert Poole (Gloria).

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday at 2pm in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2pm-8pm and on Friday from 12pm-2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E Main St Hendersonville, TN 37075 615-824-3855 hendersonvillefh.
