Vivian E. Brock, age 89, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015.
Vivian is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Blake Brock, siblings; Richard Edwards, Beatrice Price, Leona Jackson, Carmel Freeman, Ken Edwards and Jim Edwards.
Vivian is survived by her children; Karen Mundy (Dwight), Lisa Napier (Shannan), Frances Richie, grandchildren; Blake Roth (Katie), Brent Roth (Kirsten), Lauren Douglas (Bryan), Milly Ethridge (Adam), great-grandchildren; Sadie Napier, Jack Roth, Adelyn Roth, Ella Napier, Jude Roth, Bryce Roth, Lenox Ethridge, Isaac Roth, Tommy Newberry, Sage Roth, siblings; Fannie Garland, Wanda Padgett (Glenn), Evelyn Bates, and Phillip Edwards (Genieva) along with her dog, Amy Grace and many other relatives and friends.
Vivian was a registered nurse and a member of the United States Cadet Nurse Corps. She was also a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia for over 40 years. Vivian enjoyed painting, sewing and was a dessert lover. She made friends easily and was always willing to help anyone in need. Vivian never met a stranger. Her family and relationship with the Lord were very important to her. Vivian was a blessing to all that knew her and will be dearly missed.
Life celebration for Vivian will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, December 19, 2015, officiated by Pastor Floyd Roebuck. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM, all to be held at the funeral home.
