Vincent Richard Holley, age 93, of Hendersonville, Tennessee, passed away February 22, 2020 at TriStar Hendersonville Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Eva Holley and brothers Ryan and Everett Holley. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Georgia Cook Holley and sons, Richard Holley (Pam) of Hendersonville, and David (Karen) Holley of Gallatin. Grandchildren include Wesley (Angela) Holley, Sandi Holley, Daniel (Athena) Holley, great grandchildren Kyndal and Kennedy Holley and nieces and nephews.

Born in Brownsville, Tennessee on July 26, 1926, he enlisted in the U.S. Army after graduating high school and served in Occupied Japan immediately following World War II. After completing military service he entered Austin Peay State College, graduating with a B.S. degree and started his career as an insurance company safety engineer.
After a forty year career, he retired in 1992 as Vice President and Program Manager of PENCO division of Willis Corroon in Nashville. His hobbies included woodworking, pen making, gardening, and travel with his wife. His projects and goodwill to others were never-ending.

A memorial service will be held Thursday February 27th 2020 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Goodman officiating. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1:00PM until service time at 3:00PM.
