Vikki Peterman

Vikki Elizabeth Peterman, age 59, of White House, Tennessee passed away on December 25, 2024. Vikki was born to the late Robert Barton and Irene McCreary on March 31, 1965, in Fairfax, Virginia. 

She was a graduate of Beech High School however her greatest accomplishment was that she raised two amazing daughters and was a loving wife of 40 years, a devoted mother, wonderful sister, and most of all she was Granny! She smiled with joy and happiness especially when she was around her grandchildren. She was funny and could bring a smile to anyone’s face. She fought her short battle with cancer until her body became too tired and couldn’t fight any longer. The fact that she passed on Christmas was a sign like the shepherds, she heard the heavenly host of angels singing. She went to heaven on Jesus' birthday, what a beautiful day for her to be reunited in heaven with her Mom, Paw paw, and many others who went before her. Cancer is the devil's work, but it cannot rise above God’s plan. The memories will forever live in our hearts. 

Vikki is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dwain Peterman; daughters, Amanda Hardin (Aaron Hardin) and Denice Peterman (Trae Payne); grandchildren, Izabella Hardin, Riley Bright, Remmie Payne, Riggslee “Bubba” Payne; great grandchildren, Milliana Landaverde and brothers Bob McCreary (Pam McCreary) and Scott McCreary.

Visitation for Vikki will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075). The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the same location. Burial will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
