Mr. Vernon Lee Gray age 81, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.

Mr. Gray was born in Nashville, TN, on December 18, 1938, the son of the late Lucien Smiley Gray and Elizabeth Pedigo Gray. He retired as a truck driver and was a member of the IBT 480. Mr. Gray was an avid bass fisherman and enjoyed bowling.

Survivors include his wife, Loretta Stinson Gray; two sons, Daryl Gray and Jeff Gray (Laura); a daughter, Misty Gray-Winnett (Kenneth); three sisters, Carrol Darks, Bertha Carney, and Shirley Shrader (Charlie); eight grandchildren, Derek Gray, Brittany Gray, Ashley Greer, Chelsea Ehinger, Logan Gray, Abigail Winnett, Paige Winnett, and Lincoln Winnett; and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Neil Pedigo officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from noon until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and are requested to meet at 12:30 P.M. Thursday: Logan Gray, Derek Gray, Noah Ehinger, Jeff Gray, Daryl Gray, and Kenneth Winnett.
