Timothy "Tim" McClendon, age 54 of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Nancy McClendon, father, Thomas McClendon (Bonnie), sons; Dalton and Dakota McClendon, along with their mother, Lisa McClendon, siblings; Teresa Bowman (Brian) and Troy McClendon (Stephanie). Also survived by many close nieces and nephews, along with special friend, Kim Slade.

Tim was born May 5, 1963 in Nashville, TN and proudly served in the United States Navy. His family describes him as having a big heart, protective of his family, lovable and being simply awesome. Tim didn't shake your hand, he hugged you. Tim was a man of God who loved everyone he met and never knew a stranger. He loved Oakland Raider football, golfing, doing yard work and listening to classic rock and roll. He enjoyed going on golf outing trips and visiting Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. Family was very important to Tim, especially during the holidays. Tim will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

A Life Celebration service for Tim will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 6pm, officiated by Allen Lindsey. Visitation will begin at 4pm.
