Thomas "Tom" J. Freeman

Thomas J. Freeman, age 91, passed away on September 10, 2023.  Tom was born on August 17, 1932 in Niles Township, Michigan to Robert and Lydia Freeman. 

Tom spent his career as a chemical engineer.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He was a member of Connell United Methodist Church.  Tom served others in the Meals on Wheels program for many years.  He was a special person and will be missed by all who knew him.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Retha Freeman; parents, Robert and Lydia Freeman; and brother Robert Freeman.

He is survived by sons, John (Nancy) Freeman of White House, Tennessee and Robert (Eve) Freeman of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; daughter, Nancy (Mike) Mundy of Great Falls, Montana; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Barbara Leavitt of California, Gerri Freeman of Florida, and Cathy Carvell of Tennessee.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with a one hour visitation prior to the service at Connell United Methodist Church 113 Church Street Goodlettsville, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
