Age 75, departed from this life on November 13, 2015. Don was born on April 26, 1940 in Hensley, AR. to Thomas "T.C." and Connie Crawford. As a young man he developed his love for the outdoors that continued throughout his life. Don was an avid sportsman that loved nothing more than spending time with friends and family at "The Farm." He was an Air Force veteran and a member of the Freemasons, Masonic Lodge 359. Don retired in 2003 from an accomplished career as a sheet metal worker, foreman and superintendent. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Don never met a person he didn't like and those who met him knew they had met a man of straight talk and honest character. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Don is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sandra Ruth Crawford; son, Thomas "Donald" (Lisa) Crawford Jr.; grandchildren, Chad (Lynsey) Crawford, Landon Crawford, Patrick Loope, and Megan Loope; sisters, Doris Mallory and Deloris (Ervin) Ford and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 17 from 3 - 7 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at Hendersonville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation or Alive Hospice.
