Teresa W. Marler, age 60, of Gallatin went to be with her heavenly Father Thursday, December 20, 2018. She was born October 13, 1958 in Batesville, MS to the late Edwayne and Shirley Faye Ware.

Teresa was an art teacher in Mississippi for 22 years until she and her family moved to Hendersonville 15 years ago. She was the librarian at Ellis Middle School for 15 years and a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville. She served as the church's Library Director for a short period of time. She was a loving mother and wife who was passionate about art, literature, education, and nature.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Max Marler; son, Steven Marler; daughters, Julianne and Caroline Marler; brother, Don Ware; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Hendersonville First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Hendersonville Funeral Home assisting the family.
