Suzanne Mccloud

MCCLOUD, Suzanne Howell- Age 58, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 14, 2012 with her family by her side. She had been battling breast cancer for over four years. Suzanne faced her battle with grace, strength and a fighter's spirit. Suzanne was born in Nashville to Jo and Evan Howell. She graduated from John Overton High School, attended the University of Tennessee at Martin and graduated Peabody College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While in college she met and married Bob McCloud in August of 1974. She became a Christian at an early age and was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church as well as a former member of Immanuel Baptist and Brook Hollow Churches. For over 10 years she worked as Campus Supervisor at H.G. Hill Middle School. She was a loving grandmother and devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her granddaughter, Madison. She is survived by her husband, Bob McCloud; sons, Daniel McCloud and Josh McCloud; parents, Jo and Evan Howell; brother, David Howell Bonnie; mother-in-law, Cornie Belle McCloud; sister-in-laws, Kim McCloud Mark Miller and Mary McCloud Scott Moore; granddaughter, Madison McCloud; and five nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 17, at Bellevue Baptist Church, 7400 Highway 70S, Nashville, TN 37221. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Donations can be made to Bellevue Baptist Church Building Fund. Pallbearers: Jim Johnson, Jim Smith, David Howell, Larry Bain, Ken Waddy, Paul White and Richard White.
