Shirley Staton

Mrs. Shirley Alethia Haas Staton age 90, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017.

Mrs. Staton was born in Louisville, KY, on September 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Albert Haas and Thelma Hall Haas. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Staton was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Martin Staton; a son, Mark Staton; and a step-son, Jerry Bruce Staton.

Survivors include four step-grandchildren, Kristin Diane Evers (Stephen), Bradley Scott Staton, Eric Christopher Staton (Toni), and Brian Todd Staton (Rachel); eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a special neighbor, Jean Sullivan.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at nine o'clock in the morning, Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. David Gant officiating. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
