Shirley Holloway

Shirley Kay Holloway passed away January 7, 2018 in Hendersonville, TN. Kay was born July 16, 1933 in Cascade, MD, daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (McClain) Moore. Kay raised 5 children as her husband worked hard providing a living, traveling the country working in the construction industry. Kay was a great mother and had a strong faith in God, raising her children in the church regardless of where they lived and was a longtime member of the Lake Placid Church of Christ. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and was a great cook. Kay is survived by her husband, Jack Cline; 5 children, James R. Holloway, Debra S. Allen, Bruce E. (Robin) Holloway, Dennis W. (Lisa) Holloway and Jake Holloway (Beth Carey); grandchildren, Bryan Allen, Jessica Allen, Matthew (Christine) Holloway, Brandon Allen and Courtney Holloway; great-grandchildren, Nikolas, William and Darrius. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 57 years, James H. Holloway and a sister, Joanne Johnson. No public services are scheduled at this time and cremation will be taking place per Kay's wishes.
