Shirley Fleming

Shirley A. Fleming, age 85, passed away on Sunday January 14, 2024.  Shirley was born on December 25, 1938, in Franklin, Kentucky to Arnet and Mildred (Eubanks) Hooper.

Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Shirley worked in real estate for many years and forged a successful business in Asheboro, North Carolina, helping people obtain the dream of home ownership.  Shirley and her husband Rob moved from North Carolina to Wildwood, Florida in 2006, to follow their dream of retiring in Florida.  While in Florida, Shirley and Rob made new friends and enjoyed retirement life.  

Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Robert (Rob) Fleming in August of 2023, and her son Richard A. Fleming.  She is survived by her daughter Barbara J. Picquet; grandchildren Lauren M. Noyes, Jacob A Picquet, and Benjamin M. Picquet; great-grandchildren Gabriel J. Noyes, Keira C. Noyes, Genevieve A. Noyes, and Sean J. Doer, along with numerous extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Hendersonville Memory Gardens beginning at 2pm.
