Sarah Frances Brown, 78, of Cross Plains, TN went to be with the Lord on October 13, 2017.

Mrs. Brown was a faithful member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church since 1967, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She enjoyed family time, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She described herself as the fastest cotton picker in the family. She was proud to be the oldest of eleven siblings.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, John F. Brown; parents, James and Sarah Hargrove, brothers Bobby Hargrove and Danny Ray Hargrove ; sister, Ann Goats. Survived by her daughter, Kathy Minor (John); brothers, William T. "Buddy" Hargrove (Linda), James "Jimmy" Hargrove (Betty), Larry Hargrove, Earl Hargrove; sisters, Ruth Williams, Stella Adcock (Jeff), Nancy Holder (Randy) ; several nieces, nephews & extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Missionary Baptist Church (103 Ingrid Way, Hendersonville, TN, 37075).

A Life Celebration will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
