Sandra Simpson Meadows-age 83, passed away October 16, 2017. Sandra attended the University of Mississippi and throughout her life had a passion for reading, playing golf and crossword puzzles. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Cornelia Simpson.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Doyle Meadows; children, Billy House, Cornelia (Chris) Pullins and Bob (Angie) House ; stepchildren, Mike (Kellie) Meadows, Sonja (Jeff) Zimmerle and Jerry Meadows; brothers, Alexander (Shirley) Simpson , Jr. and William Mohler (Carol) Simpson; grandchildren, Sam, Karen, and Will (Lis) and Travis House, Mary Pullins, Hailey Daugherty, Doss, Jane and Levi Meadows, Chelsey Dyer and Christina Higgins; great-grandchildren, Vega, Savannah, Clayton and Kenadie House, Elora Daugherty, Addyson Norris, and Jeremiah Clinard.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017, 3pm at St. Joseph of Arimathea Episcopal Church 103 Country Club Dr, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Visitation will be held prior at the church from 2pm-3pm. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner MS on December 16, 2017 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HighPoint Hospice or Meals on Wheels in Gallatin, TN.
