Ruth Virginia Null was called to her heavenly home by our Lord on May, 1, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Arby Null; parents, George Cornelius Terrett and Mattie Lou Bright; sisters, Zella Carmack, Ann Wankum, and Francis Brasher, and great-grandchild, Sabrina. She is survived in by her son, Jimmy Darrell Null; her grandchildren Cathy Standfield, Jimmy Null, and Sandi Aldridge; her great grandchildren Samantha, Luke, Jaclyn, Isaac, Jacob, and great-great grandchild, Colton; her cousin Melvina and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was born and raised in Bragg City, MO, where she married and started a family. They moved to Kennett, MO in 1945, where she worked as a cook in the pastry kitchen at the hospital. She enjoyed sewing, making crafts, and singing hymns. While working, she was also a caregiver to many of her family members, young and old. She had a generous heart and she would share anything she had with someone in need.
In 2002 she moved to Hendersonville, TN to be with her son and his family, and she started attending Cornerstone Church in Madison. She loved God and all people, especially children! She cherished the Word, her Church, her family and her many dear friends. She was a godly woman of integrity and compassion who gave of herself sacrificially. The memory of her perseverance and love will be carried in our hearts until we are reunited with her in Heaven.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th from 2:00-4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at Hendersonville Memory Gardens & Funeral Home, 353 Johnny Cash Parkway, Hendersonville, TN
