Ruth T. Gipson - Age 57 of Hendersonville passed away September 3, 2014.
Mrs. Gipson was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Ruth was a woman of faith who loved the Lord. She was a very caring person who never met a stranger and would give to anyone in need. She was a devoted employee of Mapco for more than 15 years. Her true pride and joy in life were her grandchildren Tanner and Tyler. She loved spending quality time with them and attended most of their baseball and Soccer games. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. She will be deeply missed and will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Preceded in death by her parents Oliver Tramel and Willie Blaine Coker. Survived by her husband of 36 years Robert Glenn Gipson; son, Bobby Gipson; daughter, Sherry Hayes; grandchildren Tanner William Hayes and Tyler Blaine Hayes; sister, Judy Staggs; nephews, Matthew and Jake Tramel; cousin, Shirley Tramel and several other loving family and friends.
A Life Celebration will be held 2:00pm Saturday September 6, 2014. Burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
