Ruby Hicks

HICKS Ruby Lee, age 90, died August 7, 2011 at Good Samaritan Center in Louisville, Ky. Ruby was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church. She enjoyed working with flowers, quilting, playing bridge and cooking especially sweets. She was preceeded in death by her husband James W. Pete Hicks, her parents Turner and Lillian Wilson Lee, her sister Jewell Jackson, brothers Russell Lee, Denson Lee & Norris Lee. She is survived by daughters, Glynda Dick Freeman of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Patsy Selzer of Louisville, Ky; son, James W. Anita Hicks of Nashville; grandchildren, Alan Lauren, Mark & Kevin Sara Freeman, Kelli Reed & Meggan Selzer, Trey, Ashton & Kyle Hicks & Elena Ramos; great-grandchildren, Mason & Colby Freeman and Ridley Johnson-Selzer. Visitation will be at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home Thursday, 8/11 from 4-8 pm.
