Roxanna Norris Polk born in Coatesville, PA and lived in Gallatin, TN born on October 25, 1954 and died January 31, 2017. Survived by her three children, Todd Polk, Zack Polk, and Hannah Polk, and two granddaughters Dakota and Anabelle Polk; her parents Robert and Olive Norris and two brothers Butch Norris and wife Kay, and Michael Norris and wife Angie, and her ex-husband Walt Polk to whom she was married 26 years. She had many extended family members too numerous to list, and multitudes of friends. Her precious granddaughter Chloe preceded her in death.

Words on a page can never encompass the magnitude of Roxanna's impact on so many lives. She had an infectious laugh, a genuine care and love for people, a passion for Jesus and sharing His love, and incredible business savvy. Roxanna was a keeper of people, a true friend, an encourager, and a dispenser of hope to all she came in contact.

Everyone who knew her is a better person today because of her involvement in his or her life. Whether it was being a lifelong friend, attending a class she taught at church, or simply purchasing a prom dress, you always felt the explosion of love from her personality. She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a businesswoman, a leader among leaders, and a friend.

She wore her red lipstick with style and grace believing in the symbolism of her "doorpost being covered". Death did not win; cancer did not prevail. The faith she put on her lips and spoke out of her mouth carried her to a place where cancer is no more and death is defeated. No grave can hold this woman down!

"...He gives a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for His own glory." Isaiah 61:3 NLT
