Rose Marie Kirkpatrick of Hendersonville, TN passed away January 31, 2018 in Nashville, TN. Rose was born December 9, 1931 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Theo and Mary (Killen) Carver. Rose attended St. Cecilia School in Nashville and was very strong in her Catholic faith and devoted to her loving family. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as assembling puzzles and reading, especially mystery novels. A favorite pastime was watching Jeopardy, where she was able to come up with most of the answers each episode. On October 6, 1956, Rose was united in marriage to her loving and faithful husband of 61 years, Robert Kirkpatrick, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Robert, Jr. (Melanie) Kirkpatrick, Davy Kirkpatrick, Paul (Melodie) Kirkpatrick and Ann Kirkpatrick; grandchildren, Rob, III (Heather) Kirkpatrick, Ryan Kirkpatrick and Luree Rose Kirkpatrick; great-granddaughter, Meredith Kirkpatrick; sisters, Joanne (Frank) Darmanin and Mary Ellen (Charlie) Hamlet; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Ted Carver. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 4-8pm at the Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St; Hendersonville, TN 37075). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday (2/3), 11am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church followed by Internment at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. The honor of serving as Pallbearers has been entrusted to Rob Kirkpatrick, Ryan Kirkpatrick, Boone Simmons, Larry Isham, Artie Frazor and James Dean Rice. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Building Fund.
