Robin "Robby" McDaniel- age 78 went to be with the Lord on June 24, 2017. Robby was a man of faith, he was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville. He will be remembered as a kind man who loved people and never met a stranger. He was a wonderful husband and father who adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of his life. He touched the lives of many people throughout the years and will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Beth McDaniel. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Brenda June McDaniel; children, Kim (Kelly) Reynolds, Luther (Cathy) McDaniel, Mark McDaniel, and Kelly (Beth) McDaniel; grandchildren, Leslie (John) Robus, Matthew (Jennifer) Reynolds, Brady (Rachel) McDaniel, Molly (Micah) Jent, Megan McDaniel, Chad McDaniel, Mandy McDaniel, Emma McDaniel, Sydney McDaniel, and Lily McDaniel; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Robus, Ellie Robus, Blakely Reynolds, and Aiden Jent; siblings, Janet Newton, Rhonda McDaniel, Dean McDaniel, Don McDaniel, Randy McDaniel and Tony McDaniel. Active pallbearers will be Kelly Reynolds, Matthew Reynolds, Brady McDaniel, Chad McDaniel, John Robus, and Micah Jent.

A celebration of life service will take place in the chapel of First Baptist Church Hendersonville on June 27, 2017 at 11am with Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 4pm-8pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 10am-11am at the church.
