Robert Spingler

Robert (Bob) John Spingler, 79, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away February 3rd, 2016, at his home. He was born in Little Falls, NY.

Bob graduated from Little Falls High School in 1955 and served in the United States Navy until 1959. He married the love of his life, Barbara Browne on October 31st, 1959. Bob graduated with honors from Syracuse University in 1971 with a BS in Accounting and worked at Ingersoll Rand for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. Bob was passionate about helping people and was a long time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He served 42 years in various positions, culminating in reaching the highest degree of Pilgrim, Secretary of Tennessee Moose Lodges, and Supreme Council. Bob was respected and loved by all who knew him. He has a host of friends who admired his quiet strength and sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Barbara; daughters Sharon (Al) Morgan of Sayre, PA, Barbara (Debbie) Fogel of Richboro, PA; sons Robert (Jane) Spingler of Clarksville, TN and Steven Spingler; of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Heather, Anna, Jeremy, Robert, Francesco, Amelia, and Ryan.

A memorial will be held locally at the West Nashville Moose Lodge, time and date to be determined.
