Robert Simpkins "Bob" Page age 71 of Hendersonville passed away on Thursday, November 09, 2017.
He was born on May 4, 1946 to the late George and Helen Page in Nashville, TN.
Growing up in East Nashville, Mr. Page met the love of his life through mutual friends in September of 1965. They decided in July of 1966 to get married and start a family; they would welcome two beautiful daughters and four amazing grandchildren over the next 51 years.
Mr. Page was describes as a fun loving and kind man. He never met a stranger and loved a good joke; at family get together him and his brother loved to tell jokes and tease the nieces and nephews. Mr. Page appreciates the smell and sounds of the great outdoors and enjoyed hunting.
He worked for 20 years as the Senior Manager at Christian Manner and cherished his time with the staff and residence. Previous to working at Christian Manner, he was the Quality Control Specialist at Oscar Mayer, and could tell you everything you needed to know about a good beef hotdog.
Family means the world to Mr. Page. Family trips to the beach, mountains and Day trips on PigPaths to different cafes and antique shops filled his time off. However, Pa never missed a Baseball game that Jackson or Parker in the 15 years they played. Nor a dance recital of Olivia and Caroline in the last 15 years they have performed. His grandchildren were truly the apple of his eye.
Mr. Page is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Brenda Page; daughters, Kimberly (Jack) Bryant and Dana (Jimmy) Craighead; grandchildren, Jackson Bryant, Parker Craighead, Olivia Bryant, and Caroline Craighead; siblings, Barbara (Ed) Gross and Don (Sharon) Page and numerous nieces and nephews.
