Mr. Robert Lawrence McMurtry (Bobby Mac), age 72, of Hendersonville, passed away September 15, 2014.

Mr. McMurtry is preceded in death by his parents, Barry and Myra McMurtry; brother, Ted McMurtry; step-son, James "Jimbo" Burlison and step-son-in-law, David M. Richardson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jo McMurtry; son, Chris McMurtry (Anissa); grandsons, Sumner, Sheldon and Sanders, McMurtry; step-children, Allen Bryant, Michelle Richardson, Michael Burlison, Joey Burlison, and spouses. Sisters, Harriett Coleman (Jerry), Lucy Collins and Patricia Hill(Butch); brother, Ronnie McMurtry (Suzanne); sister-in-law, Melba McMurtry; grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 18th, 2-8, Friday, September 19th, 11 AM until service time at 2 PM.
