Mr. Robert Michael Kirkup age 73, of White House, TN passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

Mr. Kirkup was born on November 21, 1946, the son of the late Robert Irving "Bob" Kirkup and Jean Williams Kirkup. Mike proudly served in the United States Army. He retired from Piedmont Natural Gas after forty-two years of service. Mr. Kirkup enjoyed White House Football, playing Pogo with his sister, an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan, and loved his grandchildren.

Survivors include his two sons, Michael Todd Kirkup (Pam) and Timothy Kirkup (Jennifer); sister, Debbie Moore (Jim); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nephews; and a niece.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020, at 1:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home with Rev. H.D. Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with military honors.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
