Robert Shea Dennis age 84, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2017.

Mr. Dennis was born in Nashville, TN, on February 20, 1933, the son of the late Joseph and Catherine Dennis. Robert graduated from North High School in 1951. He served in the United States Army from April 1953 thru April 1955. He has worked for several paper companies with the longest being Dennis Paper Company.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, June Dennis; daughter, Claudia Dennis; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Dennis; brother, Joe Dennis; and sisters, Catherine Sanders, Mildred Leone, and Mary Rippetoe.

Survivors include a son, Tom Dennis; grandson, Daniel Shea Dennis (Madison); brother, Morris Dennis; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, November 6, 2017, at noon, Hendersonville Funeral Home. A private entombment service will follow.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Alive Hospice 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.
