Robert "Bobby" Plaskett III

Robert “Bobby” William Plaskett III, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away on September 7, 2024. Bobby was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 9, 1967 to Robert W. Plaskett, Jr. and Kathleen Plaskett. 

A graduate of Cumberland University, Bobby earned a Master’s Degree in Public Service Management. An avid camper and hiker, Bobby completed the Appalachian Trail when he was eighteen years old. Bobby enjoyed antique shopping, reading, movies, and music. A member of the Boy Scouts of America, Bobby was an Eagle Scout who received the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow, the highest honor awarded for exceptional contributions to the Order of the Arrow or Scouting. 

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Plaskett, Jr. and his daughter, Lizzie M. Plaskett. 

Bobby is survived by his wife of 17 years, Tracy M. Plaskett; his mother, Kathleen Plaskett; his siblings, Duane Plaskett, Darcy Fox, Justin (Kim) Plaskett, and Jeremiah (Elise) Plaskett; his in-laws, Randy and Leona Riser of Hendersonville; his nieces, Kylee, Amelia, Kaylee, Ruthie, and Ryann; and nephews, Logan, Cohen, and Brynden.

Visitation for Mr. Plaskett will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 East Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075) and Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center (353 East Main Street, Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sarah Cannon Research Institute, The American Cancer Society, or Cub Scout Pack 45, 19805 Boulder Lane, Robertsdale, Alabama 36567 (Bobby’s nephews’ Scout pack) in Bobby’s honor.
