Rita Elliott

Rita Marie Elliott, age 71, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on December 17th, 2019. She was born on January 28th, 1948, in Kansas City, KS.

Rita spent over 20 years with Walmart in both Texas and Tenneessee. She enjoyed spending time with her coworkers and customers and was known to bring a smile to those people she met. Rita loved her pets, her friends, and her family and she never met a stranger. On her off time, she enjoyed her crafts.

Rita is preceded by her farther Roger Pruitt, her mother Louise Moorehouse, and her first son, Terry Elliott.

Rita is survived by her 2 son's Shawn (Wife Jacqueline) and Travis (Wife Kendall), 3 sisters, Carol, Linda & Cherry, grandchildren; Joshua, Garrett, Caden, Gavin, Kaitlyn, John Russell and great-granddaughter, Madelyn Elliott.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 3rd, 2020, from 4pm to 7pm, at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street in Hendersonville. The Elliott family has requested that donations in her name be given to the Sumner County Humane Society.
