Richard L. Bray (Dick) of Brentwood Tennessee passed away Thursday January 21st, 2016.
He was a native of Thomasville, GA and a veteran having served in the United States Navy. The Candy and Tobacco industry was where Richard began and ended his career, working in various roles including management and ownership. He also served as President of the Southern Tobacco and Candy Association. Because he cared so much for his community he was the president for Mooreland Estates, serving 10 years.

Richard was an adventurous man who worked hard and played harder. His passion for adventure began with skydiving and graduated to scuba diving. He had over 500 dives around the world including several dives in the Red Sea, which was his favorite. He was also a diehard UT Vols fan.

Dick, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather is survived by his wife, Winnie Bray; children, Tony Stinson and wife Kim, Jodie Pelley, John Stinson and wife Debbie, Bonnie Bray; grandchildren April Stinson, Terra Lane and husband Chad, Josh Stinson and wife Teresa, Dylan Pelley and wife Katie, Zach Stinson, Mckenna Pelley, great grandchildren TiAnna, Anthony, Taylor, Lily, Olivia.

Funeral service with Military Honors will be 2:00 Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with visitation from 11:00 to 2:00.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Project and Shriners.
