Rebecca O. McEwen Age 74 of Hendersonville passed away December 22, 2013. Mrs McEwen was a friendly, selfless woman that had a very kind and generous heart. She enjoyed ceramics, flower arranging & most of all, her grandchildren. She was a Christian woman, who was a member of Hendersonville Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Terrance O'Donnell & Mary Louise Robertson O'Donnell; Aunt, Stella McEwen (Ray); 2 sisters; 4 brothers. Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Henry McEwen, children, Rhonda Potts (Michael), Henry McEwen, Jr. (Charlotte) & Daryl Shane McEwen (Tonya); grandchildren, Ashley, Lynsi, Trenton, Neeli, Delanie, Brian & Amber; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Chloe, Declan; sister, Patricia Tomlin; brothers, Robert O'Donnell (Charlotte) & Ray McEwen (Libby).
A Life Celebration will be held 11am Tuesday at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Alan Searcy officiating. Burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
