Ray Hawkins

Ray Donald Hawkins "Don", 81 years old, born on October 10, 1936, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Preceded in death by Ray Daniel Hawkins and Beatrice Alberta Hawkins. Survived by his wife of 32 years, Debbie Hawkins, 2 children and 2 step-children, Vicki Hawkins Fitch (Bob), Ray Donald Hawkins, Jr. (Misty), Brian Lomax (Aimee) and Jennifer Lomax Aldridge (Lance), 7 grandchildren: Hannah Hawkins, Grant Hawkins, Hayley Hawkins, Caleb Hawkins, Abby Brogdon, Ally Brogdon and Carter Lomax, 2 siblings: Carole Ann Rice (William) and Charles Stanton Hawkins (Barbara) along with many other extended family members.

Don retired as Assistant General Manager from Nashville Electric Service after 30 years of service in 1992. Don was a member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville and a member of Hendersonville Lodge #359, and Al Menah Shrine Temple. He avidly enjoyed fishing, duck hunting, and watching his grandchildren play a variety of sports. He was also winner of TN State Duck Calling Championship.
