Phil Watts

James Phillip Watts, age 71, of Hendersonville, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021.

He was born to the late, James Edward Watts and Marye Emma Watts on May 8, 1950. Phil was a member of the Hendersonville First Baptist Church, Bluegrass Country Club and the Litton Alumni Association.

He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 42 years, Beverly Watts; son, Rob (Mindy) Watts; grandsons Garrett and Ace Watts; and twin brother, Ray (Debbie) Watts.

Pallbearers will be Andy Beasley, Bill Lewellen, Gary Head, Bill Hester, Skip Dean, Paul Corley, Ace Watts and Garrett Watts.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Litton High Alumni, Vanderbilt Alumni and current and former State Farm Agents.

Funeral service will be held at Hendersonville First Baptist Church on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11 AM with Bruce Chesser officiating and special remarks by Richard Gaia. Visitation with friends and family will be one hour prior to service time at Hendersonville First Baptist Church, as well as on Thursday, August 26, at Hendersonville Funeral Home, 353 East Main Street, in Hendersonville, from 4 PM until 7 PM.
