Perry "Little Brother" Temple- age 56 passed away January 21, 2016.
He was born in El Reno, OK on November 30, 1959. As a young man he started his career in oil fields. During that time he developed an interest for trucking at the young age of 21. He loved the "long haul" life and continued being a trucker until he lost his leg. Because of trucking he met and married the love of his life Rita Dotson. They met at a local truck stop and instantly hit it off. She ended up traveling with him for 8 years in his truck "Ole Blue".
When remembering Perry some of the first things that come to mind are his love for his family and friends, his ability to never meet a stranger, his love for chrome and chicken lights and most of all his humble and giving heart.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Rita Dotson; many nieces and nephews and several brothers in trucking.
The family will receive friends from 10am - 2pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, TN, with the funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with expense of Perry's headstone.
