Percy Hallock, age 85, passed away peacefully at the Alive Hospice residence in Nashville, TN on Saturday, September 2, 2017.
Percy was born in Sparrow Bush, Town of Deerpark, NY, on November 8, 1931 and resided there until his retirement in northern New Jersey. Percy worked for 38 years at Rowe International Vending Machine Corporation in Whippany, NJ. He always had a great love horses and when he retired, he boarded horses in Rockaway, NJ for 5 years. Percy was also a talented guitarist & vocalist who performed with his band and individually throughout northern New Jersey and in Nashville, TN. His favorite hobby was building and flying radio control airplanes.
Percy was preceded in death by his father, Merlin Hallock, mother, Mabel Pepper Hallock and his sister, Florence Everment. Survived by his wife, Marian Regetz Hallock, children; Michael Hallock (Laura), Mark Hallock (Judy), Mary Beth Hannum (Thomas), along with 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Percy's special personality, unique sense of humor and love of family and friends will be missed by all.
Life celebration service for Percy will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Hendersonville, TN. Inurnment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
