Margaret "Peg" Powell Havens, age 78, of Hendersonville, TN was born on July 15, 1937 and passed away on February 3, 2016. Peg is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Erskine Havens; brother Larkin Powell; daughters Kristi Larkin Havens and Kim Havens Sprout; son-in-law Troy Wayne Sprout, and grandchildren Lauren and Ryan Sprout.

Peg was a dedicated kindergarten teacher who was committed to providing kids with a strong educational foundation and who used her artistic skills to create a beautiful learning environment. She loved to dance, "do dinner out with the girls," and had recently rediscovered her creative side through a passion for coloring. She adored her grandchildren. Although she was blessed with a great cook for a husband, she was known for her baked goods, particularly her pecan pies.

A life celebration service will be held on Saturday, 11 AM at Hendersonville Memory Gardens and visitation one hour prior to service.
