Pauline "Polly" Chenault, age 84 of Hendersonville passed away November 14, 2011.A lifelong resident of Hendersonville; Polly was born and raised at Ashcrest Farm on East Main Street, a graduate of Gallatin High School and attended a Women's College in Virginia. She was also very active in her community with her memberships of the Friends of Rock Castle and Jethro Sumner Chapter of the DAR; she was a member of the Gallatin Church of Christ and had recently attended Hendersonville First United Methodist Church; Polly also volunteered for over 10 years as a "Pink Lady" at Nashville Memorial Hospital and with the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Elisabeth Chenault. Survivors include her brothers, Neil Jomelia Chenault, Jr. and Ewing Jeanne Chenault; niece, Candas "Candy" Ellithorpe Keith, Michelle Rowland and Deborah Mayes; nephews, Neil Chenault, III, Rodney "Duke" Julie Chenault, John Chenault, David Chenault, Robert Chenault and Steve Chenault. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, November 18th at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home with Noel Quinn and Randy Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at HENDERSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS AND FUNERAL HOME, 615824-3855
