Paul Tomlinson

On May 26, 2019, loving husband, son, father and grandfather, Paul Barton Tomlinson, passed away at the age of 65.

Born October 29, 1953, to Homer and Sue (Barton) Tomlinson in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, Paul worked alongside his father for many years at their family business, Old Hickory TV & Appliance. He went on to work for H.H. Gregg, and was consistently one of their top salespeople over the course of his 28-year career with the company. He was beloved by his loyal customers.

Preceded in death by his father Homer Tomlinson and sister Susan Tomlinson, Paul is survived by his wife Deborah (Stroud) Tomlinson, brother Steve Tomlinson (Carol), daughters Ashley Baggett (Phillip), Rachel King (Curly), step-son Stroud Vaughn (Cassie), and his grandchildren: John Lee, James Paul, Bailey, Makenzie, Maddie Beth, Tyler, and Bryana.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 3 PM at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens and Funeral Home.

Paul was a truly selfless man and a pillar of his community. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind, welcoming and compassionate spirit, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends alike.
