Paul Plattenburg, Jr.

Paul Edward Plattenburg, Jr., age 78, passed away on March 27, 2023.  He was born on February 27, 1945 in Winchester, Tennessee to the late Paul Edward Plattenburg, Sr. and Mary Etta Plattenburg.  Paul is survived by his daughters, Angela Helton (Scott), Andrea Butler (Sean), and Paula Johnson (JJ); grandchildren, Anthony, Austin, Brooke, Tesila, Landen, Connor, Carson, Chandler, and Zion; great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Triton, Rory, Pantera, Evelyn, Eli, and Romero; and siblings, Doris, Patty, Don, Gayle, Janet, and Dennis.

Paul was a graduate of Franklin County High School and served his country in the Army National Guard.  He was the manager of the K-Mart Garden Center and then became co-owner of Hendersonville Garden Center for over 25 years.  Paul enjoyed fishing and spending time at the nursery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
