Mrs. Patty Franke Etheridge age 82, of Hendersonville, TN, went peacefully to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.

Mrs. Etheridge was born in Red Boiling Springs, TN, on February 14, 1936, the daughter of the late Frank Bush and Anne Martin Bush. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Etheridge was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-six years, Kenneth "Ken" Etheridge; a daughter, Rebecca Etheridge Mullennix; and a brother Clay Bush.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene (Greg) Stringfellow; son-in-law, Shane (Grace) Mullennix; six grandchildren, Brandon (Kayce) Arney, Joshua (Dallas) Stringfellow, Jacob Stringfellow, Daniel, Amy, and Mitchell Mullennix; seven great-grandchildren, Karlee, Shae, and Brysen Arney, Carolina, Sadie, Neyland and Conway Stringfellow; and a sister, Josephine (Charles) Baker. Host of nieces and nephews also survive.

She was a charter member of Bluegrass Baptist Church now as Indian Lake Peninsula Church and attended for almost fifty years. Also, she was a member of Friendship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Etheridge was the church's first preschool director and loved taking care of the babies. She worked in the 80's at Ace Hardware and loved talking to all the customers who came in. She retired from the State of TN in the Department of Human Services after eighteen years of service.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., Indian Lake Peninsula Church. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Hendersonville Funeral Home and Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Indian Lake Peninsula Church.

The family would like to thank those who cared for her at Brookdale for the last ten years.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to Alzheimer's TN Chapter in Mrs. Etheridge's memory or to Indian Lake Peninsula Church.
