Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Carney age 78, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020.

Mrs. Carney was born in Nashville, TN, on January 13, 1941, the daughter of the late Horace Craig and Gladys Holland Craig. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, holiday dinners, estate sales, short road trips, and her backyard at home with her best friend and husband, Charlie. Mrs. Carney will be remembered most for loving her family and others, showing compassion, and being loyal. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Carney was preceded in death by her siblings, James "Douglas" Craig, Jean Redmond, Russel Craig, Bobbie Craig, Wayne Craig, and Brenda Butterworth.

Survivors include her husband, Charles "Charlie" Carney, to whom she was married on August 15, 1965; a daughter, Rhonda (Ronald) Cannon; a son, Loy Carney; grandson, Chaz Carney; Chaz's sister, Sara Grace Fisher; and three sisters, Marie Schmitz, Chyrel McMurtry, and Debbie (Kevin) Patterson. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 11:00 A.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from one hour prior to service at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
