Norris Davidson- age 74 passed away June 20, 2017. As a young man he served our country proudly in the United States Air Force. For over 25 years he worked as a tool and dye inspector for Avco. During that time he and his wife Ruby owned the local skating rink and then opened the famous, Mason Jar Restaurant. When he wasn't working he enjoyed dancing. He and Ruby won many dance contests at the Starlight Club. As he got older and had grandchildren they became the light of his life. He was also an avid predators fan. He will be remembered as loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Davidson. He is survived by his daughter, Debbie Wood (Robert Coleman); son, Turner Davidson (Corinne); grandchildren, Carter, Spencer and Olivia Davidson; sister, Lorna Green.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 10am in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 4pm-7pm and on Saturday from 9am-10am at Hendersonville Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (P.O. Box 96011
