Mrs. Nettie "Juanita" Marcum, Nashville native and long-time Hendersonville resident, has passed away peacefully at home July 23, 2021.

Juanita was predeceased by her high school sweetheart and husband of 63 years - Ray Marcum. They settled in Hendersonville, TN to live and work in Real Estate, helping many others to make their homes here, too.

Juanita is predeceased by her mother Nettie E. Barlar, father Herbert A. Hendrix, brother Herbert A. Hendrix (Joyce), sister Ora E. Hendrix, daughter Deborah A. English, and great-granddaughter Autumn.

She is survived by daughters Sharon D. Estes (Nick Heiman) and Sandra Woodard (Tim), and son-in-law David A. English. Also mourning her loss are sisters-in-law Joyce Hendrix and Kathy Marcum, niece Anita Martin, and newphews David Hendrix, Robert "Bud" Taylor, and Butch Kerr. Her legacy continues through eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and two nephews, John Hendrix and James Hendrix.

Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens on Thursday, July 29th 4:00-8:00pm. A graveside service will follow Friday, July 30th at 10:00am.
